Shriram Agro Agencies is located right inside Sundar Market. It is a very busy place, especially in the early mornings when the farmers come into town to get their supplies. We sell things that people need for their fields, like seeds and other items. Our shop is usually full of heavy bags and plastic containers. It smells like earth and fertilizer most of the time, which we have gotten used to. We do not have a fancy showroom with lights. Everything is just stacked up wherever there is a bit of empty space on the floor. We spend a lot of our time talking to the customers about their seasons and how the rain is doing this year. We know the people who come here quite well. Some of them have been buying from us for many years. Sundar Market is always loud with people shouting and trucks unloading their goods. We have to keep a very close eye on our stock so we do not run out when it is the middle of the planting season. It involves a lot of heavy lifting and moving bags around. We do not use computers for every little thing; a lot of our accounts are still written down in big paper ledgers. It is just the way we have always done it here. The shop gets very dusty because of all the movement. Sometimes the tea seller comes around and we sit for a few minutes to catch our breath.
