Our business is situated in Udhyognagar, not far from Patel Stadium. Being near the stadium is handy because it is a place everyone can find. We mostly do manufacturing and some retail of clothes. It is a busy environment. You can hear the sewing machines running for most of the day. We have a few long tables where we lay out the fabric for cutting. There are bits of thread and cloth scraps all over the floor. We try to clean up but it just gets messy again. The building is a simple one-story structure. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep all the windows open. Sometimes a stray dog comes in to sleep in the shade. We do not have a fancy office or any corporate managers. It is just us and the workers. We have a small corner where we keep the finished items. We do not have any big marketing plans or a social media page. Most people find out about us from their friends or neighbors. We have been working in Udhyognagar for several years now. We like the area because it is industrial and productive. Our days are long, but we enjoy the work. We usually have some tea in the afternoon and talk about the orders we need to finish. It is just a normal, hardworking shop where we try to do a good job every day.
