Yamuna Dresses

I’ve been working at Yamuna Dresses for a while now. We are right over in Shree Ram Society, just opposite Lawadi School on Hapa Road and Apa Road. It’s a busy spot but we like it here. People often stop by because they see our sign while dropping kids at the school. It’s a small shop, really. Not much to look at from the outside, but we keep it tidy. We mostly handle clothes and everyday wear for the local folks around here. It gets quite crowded on weekends, especially when parents are out and about. We try to keep things organized on the racks but sometimes it gets a bit messy when it’s busy. That’s just how it goes with clothes, I guess. My cousin helps me out sometimes, especially in the afternoons when the sun is hitting the front window. We’ve been at this location for a good bit now. Most of the people who come in live right in the neighborhood. We know many of them by name. It isn't a big fancy showroom or anything like that. Just a regular place where you can find something to wear without a lot of fuss. We spend a lot of our time sorting through new stock that comes in from the suppliers. Sometimes the boxes pile up near the back door. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and folding, but it keeps us busy. We just focus on getting through the day and making sure people find what they need. It is simple work.
