We are over at 19, Suriyaprakesh Street in Krishnapuram. It’s part of Ambattur in Chennai, postcode 600053. Ambattur is a big industrial and residential mix, and we fit right in. Our building on Suriyaprakesh Street is where we handle all our engineering and project work for Vsl (I) Pvt Ltd , Chennai. It’s a busy place with a lot of heavy equipment and parts lying around. Most days, you’ll hear the sound of tools or machines running. We aren't a corporate office with carpets and quiet rooms. It’s a functional space where we get our hands dirty. We have a team of people who have been working in Chennai for a long time. They know how to handle the heat and the humidity while getting the job done. Sometimes the street gets flooded during the monsoon rains, but we just keep going. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most people know us from the work we’ve done around the area. We focus on the technical details and making sure the projects are moving along. There’s always a bit of a rush to get things shipped out or finished by the end of the week. It’s just the usual daily grind here. We drink a lot of coffee, talk about the day’s tasks, and try to keep everything on schedule. It is a straightforward engineering and project environment without any of the extra fluff you see in bigger companies nowadays. We just keep our heads down and work.
