Vishwa Bandhej

We’ve been here at Khodiyar Colony for a good while now. The shop is right across from Crystal Mall on Aerodrome Road, so it stays pretty busy most days. If you’re looking for us, we’re just near the Bank of Baroda. Most of the time it's just us handling the piles of Bandhej fabrics and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a lot of work honestly. Some days the dust from the road gets in, but we just keep going. People come in looking for specific patterns and we do what we can to help them find the right piece. It isn't a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a regular place where we get things done. We spend most of our mornings unpacking new stock and trying to keep the shelves organized, which is harder than it looks. The traffic outside can get a bit loud in the afternoons, especially with the mall right there. We just focus on the work at hand. Sometimes we lose track of time talking to the regulars who stop by for a chat. It’s just how it is here. Nothing too complicated, just a local business trying to keep up with the daily rush. We've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We stay open until late evening usually. It's a simple life running a shop like this, but it keeps us on our toes every single day.
