V. K. Industries

V. K. Industries is located at No. 68 in the Hapa Industrial Estate. If you know Hapa, you know it’s all about small units and a lot of grease and oil. Our place isn't very large but we make use of every inch of space we have. There are machines running for most of the day and it gets quite warm inside. We have a small crew and everyone knows what they are supposed to do without being told. It’s not a place for sitting around. We are usually on our feet moving parts or checking on the equipment. The floor is concrete and has some stains that won't ever come out. Outside the estate roads are often dusty and full of trucks. We don't have a fancy sign or a big entrance. Just a door and the sound of work coming from inside. Sometimes we have tea breaks outside near the gate just to get some air. We’ve been at No. 68 for a while now and we are used to the rhythm of the industrial estate. There’s always someone moving something on a trolley or a delivery van blocking the way. It’s a practical environment. We don't spend money on decorations or anything that doesn't help us get the work done. It’s just us, the machines, and the daily grind in Hapa. We prefer it that way because it's simple and honest and keeps us busy.
