Vara Industries

Vara Industries is at C-2/313 in GIDC-1, Shankar Tekri, Udyognagar, Jamnagar. It’s a standard industrial spot in a very busy neighborhood. You can always hear the sound of some machine or another running nearby. Our unit is strictly for work. We haven't spent much time or money on making the place look good for visitors. There’s a metal door at the front and then it’s just the workshop floor. We have our equipment lined up along the walls to leave space in the middle for moving materials. It’s a functional layout that works for us. Our workers are local guys who know their way around the machines. We don't have a lot of rules or a strict corporate culture. We just expect everyone to do their part and help out. Some days we are really busy and have to work through our breaks. Other days are a bit slower, and we spend time cleaning the machines or organizing the shelves. We don't have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just want to get the orders done correctly so we can move on to the next one. It’s a practical way of living. We’ve been at this address for a long time and the people around here know us. We don’t do a lot of talking; we just let the work speak for itself. It’s just a regular shop where we do our best with what we have.
