Umiya Enterprise

Our workshop, Umiya Enterprise, sits on Plot No. 375 in the Shankar Tekri area. Jamnagar is known for this kind of setup, and we fit right in with the rest of the Gidc-1 crowd. It’s a practical space. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just us here, making sure the orders are filled. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains here and there from the machines. We keep our tools on the wall racks, though they don't always end up back in the right spot by the end of the shift. The air inside smells like grease and cold metal, which is something you get used to after the first week. We have a small area out back where we take our lunch breaks. It’s nothing special, just a few plastic chairs. Sometimes the noise from the neighbors' plots is louder than ours, especially in the afternoons. We’ve had this spot for a long time. People around Udyognagar know us as the place that just stays quiet and does the work. We don't try to be anything we aren't. If you come by, you'll likely find someone's motorbike parked right in front of the main door. It’s just how we run things day to day at Umiya. We don't bother with anything that doesn't help get the day's work finished. It keeps us busy and the hours go by fast.
