Toshi Industries P. Ltd.

Over at C-2/331 in the Shanker Tekri industrial estate, Toshi Industries P. Ltd. has been operating for a good bit now. This part of Jamnagar is always active, with trucks coming in and out to pick up loads. Our building is a standard industrial setup with high ceilings and plenty of noise once the machines start up in the morning. We don't have a big reception area or anything; you just walk right into where the work is happening. There’s usually a lot of dust in the air from the manufacturing process, and we all wear overalls to keep our clothes from getting ruined. We focus on getting the production lines running smoothly and fixing things when they break down, which happens more often than we’d like. It’s a practical kind of life, working with your hands and making sure the output stays steady. We have a small desk tucked in the corner for the billing and the phone calls. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a big order, especially when a deadline is coming up fast. The roads in Udyognagar can be a bit rough, but we’ve gotten used to the bumps. Everyone in this area knows each other, and we often borrow tools or parts from the shop next door if we’re in a pinch. It’s just how things go around here in the estate.
