Our shop is up on the first floor at Plot No. 466 in Shankar Tekri, GIDC-1. Being on the first floor means we have to carry everything up the stairs, which keeps us in shape, I guess. We’ve got shelves and bins everywhere filled with all kinds of tools you might need for industrial work. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes, and if you’re looking for something specific, you might have to wait a minute while we dig it out from the back. We see a lot of the same faces coming in from the nearby factories. They usually need a specific wrench or a cutting bit, and they need it right now so they can get back to work. We don’t do a lot of fancy displays or anything like that. It’s more about just having the right tool on the shelf when someone asks. The building itself is typical for Udyognagar, a bit older and very functional. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in here when a few customers show up at once, but we just handle them one by one. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to sell people stuff they don’t need. If we have it, we’ll sell it to you at a fair price. If we don’t, we might know who does. It’s a straightforward way to run a business, and it’s served us well enough so far in this busy part of Jamnagar.
