Toilets, Basins Sanitary Ware

If you head over to Gidc-1 in the Shankar Tekri Udyognagar area, you will find us at Plot No. 11/2. The name on the sign says Toilets, Basins Sanitary Ware, which pretty much tells you what is sitting inside the building. This part of Jam has a lot of these industrial zones, and this one is usually buzzing with activity. We have stacks of crates and boxes filled with ceramic pieces all over the place. It is not the most organized-looking shop in the world, but we know where everything is kept. The floors are often a bit dusty from the materials, and there is usually a fan running in the corner to keep the air moving during the hotter months. Customers come in and out, looking at the different basins and toilets we have on the floor. We don't do any big sales pitches or try to act like a high-end showroom. It is just a practical place for people to get what they need for their houses or projects. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time backing into the space at Plot No. 11/2 because the street can get a bit cramped with other people’s cargo and parked vehicles. We just make it work. Living and working in Jam means you get used to the pace of the Udyognagar. It’s a straightforward way to make a living, and we have been doing it this way for quite some time now, just being part of the daily grind at the plot.
