Siddhi Brass

We have been sitting here at 58 Digvijay Plot for a long time now. Hinglaj Chowk gets pretty busy in the mornings, and our little street in Udyognagar is usually full of tempos moving stuff around. Siddhi Brass isn't a fancy place with a big lobby or anything like that. It is just a workshop where we get our hands dirty every day. Jamnagar is famous for brass, so there is competition everywhere you look on this road. We spend most of our hours looking at metal parts and making sure the dimensions aren't off. Sometimes the power goes out, or the heat in the summer makes it hard to stand near the machines, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. We know most of the guys in the neighboring shops by name. We drink tea from the stall at the corner twice a day. Usually, someone is shouting over the noise of the lathes. It’s a lot of work to keep things moving. We don't have a marketing team writing stuff for us. We just open the shutters in the morning and stay until the job is finished. Some days are slow, and some days we are rushing to get a crate ready for transport. It’s a simple life here in the industrial area. We just focus on what is on the bench in front of us. There is always a lot to do before the sun goes down.
