Reynold Industries

Reynold Industries is tucked away in the Shankar Tekri Udyognagar area of Jamnagar. The exact spot is K-1/78/8 in GIDC 1. It’s one of those places where everyone is doing something related to brass or metal. We have been in this specific shed for quite some time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with the actual work to worry about that. It gets pretty loud once the machines start up in the morning. We make different types of components. Some days are slow and we just clean the tools, while other days are a complete rush. We don't have a big HR department or anything; it’s just me and the workers. We know each other’s families and what’s going on in the neighborhood. It’s a small operation. We don’t really do big advertisements. People usually find us because someone told them we were here. The traffic in Shankar Tekri can be a mess in the evenings when everyone is leaving, so we try to time our deliveries carefully. It's a lot of manual work and getting your hands dirty. We take pride in just showing up and getting the job done without making a big fuss about it. That’s just the way things go at K-1/78/8. It’s a steady life and we keep moving.
