Rachna Enterprise. We are out in Jamnagar at 25 Ashapura Industrial Estate. If you head behind the Bhanu Oil Depot, you’ll see our place on 58 Udyognagar Road. It’s a dusty part of town with a lot of trucks moving around. The sound of machines from the neighbors is pretty much constant during the day. We’ve got a small workshop and an office area where we keep the books. It gets really hot in the shed, so we have big fans running all the time. Jamnagar is known for this kind of work, and we’re just one of many small businesses in the estate. We start work early to beat the midday heat. Sometimes the oil smell from the depot next door is quite strong. We have a few guys who have worked with us since the beginning. We don't have a fancy website or anything. Most people just find us by driving down Udyognagar Road. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and getting our hands dirty. We take a break in the shade when we can. The metal roof makes a lot of noise when it rains. It’s just a basic industrial setup. We keep the gate open so people can drive in. There’s always some project we’re finishing up or a new batch of materials coming in. Most days we are too tired to do anything but lock up and go home for dinner.
