R. K. Industries

R. K. Industries is one of the many units you’ll find in GIDC-1, specifically at C-2/60 in Shankar Tekri Udyognagar. Jamnagar is a place where everyone seems to be involved in some kind of manufacturing, and we are no different. Our shop is where we spend most of our time, dealing with the machines and the metal. It’s a very hands-on kind of life here. The address is easy to find if you know the industrial estate layout. Inside, it’s mostly just tools, raw materials, and finished goods waiting to be shipped out. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a polished front office. We just have our workspace where we focus on the daily grind. It gets a bit loud with all the activity in the GIDC, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We started small and have just kept at it from this same location. There isn’t a lot of fluff in how we run things. If something needs to be made, we figure out how to do it and get to work. Most days are spent checking measurements or fixing a machine that decided to stop working. It’s just a regular local industry job for us, and we are fine with that. The GIDC area is always full of trucks and people moving things around, so there is never a dull moment. We have our routines and we stick to them. Most of our neighbors at Shankar Tekri are doing the same kind of work, so we often help each other out.
