We are based at Shed No. 15/2/B in the G.I.D.C. - 1 area of Jamnagar. It’s specifically in the Shankar Tekri Udyognagar section. If you’ve ever been to Jamnagar, you know this area is the heart of all the small-scale industries. There is a lot of metalwork and manufacturing happening all around us. The air usually smells of oil and metal, and there’s a constant hum of machines from the neighboring sheds. Our unit at Oracle International is pretty much the same. We have our machinery set up in the shed, and we spend most of our time there. It’s a practical space, built for work rather than looks. The floors are concrete and have seen a lot of use over the years. We have a small office section where we keep the ledgers and handle the phone calls. Most of our workers are from the local neighborhood and have been doing this for a long time. We don’t have any polished corporate brochures or fancy mission statements. We just show up in the morning, drink some tea, and get to work. Sometimes the heat in Jamnagar gets quite intense, so we take it a bit slower in the afternoons, but we always make sure the orders are ready when they need to be. It’s a tough environment, but it’s ours. We are just happy to be a local shop that gets the job done without any fuss.
