New Progress Machine Tools

We are tucked away at Plot No. 58, Digvijay Plot, near Krishna Colony. It is right off Udyognagar Road, which is almost always packed with traffic and people moving about. New Progress Machine Tools has been operating out of this spot for quite some time. The sound of metal hitting metal is what you hear most of the day here. We work with all sorts of tools and machinery. It is greasy work, and our hands are rarely clean. We do not mind it much. It is just the nature of the trade we chose. The shop floor is filled with lathes and grinders that have seen a lot of use. We have a few guys who have been with us since we first opened the doors. They know these machines better than anyone else. We don't use any fancy computer systems for every little thing. Some of the old ways of doing things still work best for us. People come to us when they need something specific fixed or built from scratch. We don't do a lot of talking or sales pitches. We just listen to what is needed and get to work. Sometimes we stay late to finish a job if a customer is in a hurry to get back to their own business. The lighting in the back of the shop isn't the best, but we know where every tool is kept.
