Maru Industries

Maru Industries is based at C-2/111 GIDC-1 in the Shankar Tekri Udyognagar area of Jamnagar. We share this location with some other units, so it’s always a very active spot. If you come by, you’ll probably see plenty of activity on the street. Our workshop is focused on getting orders through the door without too much fuss. We have our equipment set up in a way that makes sense for the space we have. It’s not a huge place, so we have to stay organized or we’d run out of room for materials. The lighting isn't the best in the back corners, but we have enough lamps where it counts. We don't have a receptionist or anyone to answer phones all day. Usually, whoever is closest to the desk just picks it up. We do a lot of repetitive work, but it requires a steady hand. The guys here are good at what they do and they don't complain much about the heat or the noise. We just put our heads down and work until it’s time to go home. We don't have any big corporate goals or fancy posters on the walls. Just some calendars and maybe a few notes pinned up. We get our supplies locally when we can. It’s easier that way. Most of the time, we’re just busy trying to stay on top of the schedule. That’s how life is for us at the shop.
