Mahavir Technocrats

Our place is over at Plot No. K-1-248 in the GIDC area of Shankar Tekri. If you’ve been around this part of town, you know it’s mostly industrial shops and small factories. We spend most of our hours inside the workshop dealing with various technical bits and pieces. It’s not the quietest neighborhood, but we’re used to the sound of tools and trucks moving around. The shop isn't huge, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into the space. We started out with just a few basic machines and have slowly added more over the years as things changed. Most days involve looking at drawings or figuring out how to fix a part that isn't working right. It’s practical work. We don't really have a reception area, so if you come by, you’ll probably find us right there on the floor. The floors are concrete and usually have some oil or metal shavings on them, which is pretty standard for Shankar Tekri. We’ve gotten to know the neighbors around here well. Everyone is just trying to get their work done. Sometimes we share tools or advice when someone runs into a problem they haven't seen before. It’s a tight-knit community in this section of GIDC. We just focus on the job at hand and try to make sure everything leaves the shop in decent shape. Nothing fancy, just honest labor in a dusty shed. We usually have a quick lunch and then get back to the machines until it is time to lock up.
