Jay Industries

If you head down to Hinglaj Chowk on Udyognagar Road, you will see Jay Industries at 58 Digvijay Plot. We have been operating out of this Jamnagar location for a long time. The area is always humming with the sound of other shops nearby. We mostly deal with manufacturing different parts and components. It is a lot of metalwork, which means there is a lot of heat and noise throughout the day. Our space is filled with machines that have been with us for years. They are not the newest models, but they work just fine for what we do. We usually start the day early before the sun gets too high and the heat becomes too much to handle. The shop floor is worn down from years of heavy parts being moved around. There is always a layer of fine metal dust on the shelves, no matter how much we sweep. We do not really do any big advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here at the Chowk. It is a small team of us, and we mostly just talk about the work or local news while we have our tea breaks. It is a basic setup, but it is our livelihood and we keep things running as best as we can. We just get through the work one piece at a time.
