Jay Industries

We are over at Plot No. 21/2/13 in the GIDC area here in Jamnagar. Shankar Tekri Udyognagar is usually pretty loud with all the workshops around us. It gets really dusty in the afternoons when the wind picks up, but we just keep the doors open mostly to get some air. Our place isn't anything fancy, just a workspace where we get things done every day. Most of us have been working here for years now and we know the tea stall guy down the road pretty well. The traffic around the GIDC can be a bit of a mess during the shift changes, especially with all the trucks coming in and out. Jamnagar has that typical dry heat, so the fans in the unit are always running at full speed. We don't really do much besides the regular work hours from morning until evening. Sometimes we stay back if there is a lot to finish, but usually, we like to head home on time. It is just a small team of people here. We see the same faces every day and we have our routine down. The building is a bit old, you can see some cracks in the plaster near the main gate, but it holds up fine. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just desks and the floor space where the actual work happens. It’s a simple setup at Jay Industries and we just keep it moving.
