You will find us at Plot No. 351 in the Gidc-1 area of Shankar Tekri in Jamnagar. Shankar Tekri is a place where you can always hear the sound of industry. There are so many small workshops and units here that the noise is just part of the background. Our plot is right in the middle of it. We have a decent-sized shed where we keep our machines. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it’s an honest workspace. There is always a layer of dust on the windows, no matter how much we clean them. That is just how it is in Udyognagar. We spend our time working through the pile of jobs we have for the week. The guys here usually wear work clothes that have seen better days. We aren't worried about looking professional in that corporate way. We just want to make sure the parts are right. The street outside is usually lined with parked scooters and the occasional truck loading up. There is a small shack down the road that sells snacks and soda, which is where we go when we need a break. The weather in Jamnagar can be quite humid, so we all end up sweating quite a bit by midday. It’s hard work, but it is what we know. We close up when the tasks are done and do it all again the next morning.
