Jamnagar Foundry Works

Jamnagar Foundry Works is tucked away in the M. P. Shah Muni. Udyognagar area. We are located at A-14 on Sarusection Road. If you know Jamnagar, you know this part of town is all about metal and fire. Our foundry is hot, especially in the summer months when the sun is beating down on the roof. We spend our days melting stuff and pouring it into molds. There is always soot on our clothes and the floor is never really clean no matter how much we sweep. That is just how a foundry is. Sarusection Road stays busy with traffic, so there is a constant hum of engines outside our door. We have been in this unit for a long time. The equipment is old but it still works. We don't have any fancy office or anything like that. Usually, there is just a small table with some ledgers and a few chairs for when someone comes to talk about a job. We just focus on the casting and making sure the metal behaves. Sometimes the molds break or things don't go right, and we just have to start over. It is physical work and it makes you tired by the end of the shift. We usually grab some snacks from the carts outside when we take a break. It is just a regular life of working with metal in the industrial heart of the city. We don't need much else to keep going.
