Gayatri Tools Manufacturers Exporters is based at Plot No. 467-a in the GIDC area of Shankar Tekri. We’ve been around for a while, making all sorts of tools and shipping them out. Jamnagar is a hub for this kind of work, and Shankar Tekri is right in the middle of it all. The sound of metal hitting metal is pretty much the soundtrack to our lives here. We have a shop floor full of lathes and grinding machines that have been with us through a lot. We don't have a fancy showroom or a team of salespeople in ties. If you come by, you’ll find us in our work clothes, probably covered in a bit of oil or metal shavings. We spend most of our time looking at dimensions and making sure the tools are shaped correctly. Exporting means we have to be careful with the packing and the paperwork, which takes up a good chunk of the afternoon. It’s a small, family-style operation where everyone knows how to use the equipment. We don't go in for big advertisements or catchy slogans. We just focus on the tools themselves. Sometimes we have a lot of orders at once and things get a bit chaotic, but we usually find a way to get through it. It’s a noisy, busy place, but it’s where we feel most comfortable working every day.
