Gautam Industries

We have been at A-1 Gidc in the Shankar Tekri Udyognagar area of Jamnagar for a long time. It is a noisy place with a lot of dust from the road, but it is home to us. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves and get things made. There is no fancy office here. Most of the space is taken up by machines and raw materials. Sometimes the roof leaks a bit when it rains hard, but we just put a bucket under it and keep going. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write glossy brochures. It’s just us doing the daily work. Jamnagar is a tough place for industry because of the heat, so we start early. You won’t find any big slogans on our walls. We just focus on the job at hand. Sometimes we get behind on our paperwork because we’re too busy on the floor. It’s an honest way to make a living. We know our neighbors and they know us. If you come by, you’ll see we are just regular people trying to do a good job. We don’t try to act like we are bigger than we are. It’s just Gautam Industries, a small part of the big industrial area here. We take things one day at a time and try to stay busy. That is really all there is to it.
