Dewlite Rubber Products P. Ltd. has been operating out of 4286 in the GIDC Industrial Estate for quite a long time. Our place is in the Shankar Tekri area of Udyognagar in Jamnagar. If you are looking for us, we are near P. O. Box No. 639. The smell of rubber is something you get used to after a couple of days, though visitors always seem to notice it right away. We have several machines that run pretty much all the time to keep up with what we need to produce. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the molds and raw materials stacked up. The office is just a small room at the front where we keep the files and the computer. We don't really do the whole corporate culture thing here. We just wear our work clothes and get our hands dirty. Jamnagar is a busy place for industry, and being in Shankar Tekri means we are surrounded by other people doing similar work. We talk to the guys in the neighboring units over tea or lunch. It’s a decent life. We don't make big promises or use fancy words. We just make our rubber products and send them out to whoever ordered them. Sometimes the humidity in Jamnagar makes the shop floor feel heavy, but we just keep the vents open.
