Deep Industries

Deep Industries is tucked away at Plot No. 21/1/a in the Gidc - 1 area, specifically in Shankar Tekri Udyognagar in Jamnagar. Jamnagar is a busy town for industry, and Shankar Tekri is right in the middle of it. Our shop isn't the biggest on the block, but we pack a lot into it. We mostly do work with brass and small metal parts because that’s what this area is famous for. You can walk down our alley and hear the lathes buzzing all day long. It's a bit of a maze getting back to our plot if you don't know the way, but once you’ve been here once, it’s easy enough to find. The walls are stained with machine oil and there’s always a thin layer of metal shavings on the floor, no matter how much we sweep. We have a small crew, just a few of us who have lived in Jamnagar our whole lives. We talk about the local news while we work. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just do the work that comes in and make sure it’s done okay. It’s a simple life, and the work is steady. We like being part of the Shankar Tekri community. Everyone knows everyone else's business, which can be annoying but it’s also helpful. Most days we are just busy with the machines from morning until the sun goes down.
