D. Popatlal Sons

It's just us here at D. Popatlal Sons over in Shankar Tekri. We've been at B-38 Gidc-1 for a while now. The area is always busy with trucks and people moving things around. Jamnagar gets pretty hot during the day, so we usually start early to beat the sun. My father started things years ago and now we just keep it going as best as we can. It’s a lot of metal dust and the constant sound of machines running. Some days the power goes out without warning, but that’s just how it is in this industrial zone. We don’t have a fancy office or anything like that. Just some old desks and the workshop floor where everything happens. People come by to check on their orders or just to have some tea and talk. It’s mostly regular customers who have been with us for a long time and know exactly where to find us. We don’t do much advertising at all. The sign outside is a bit faded from the rain we get during the monsoon. We just focus on getting the work done so we can head home. Sometimes the street gets flooded when it rains really hard, and we have to move things to higher ground. It's a simple setup. We handle what comes in and try to stay busy. Being in Udyognagar means there are neighbors doing similar stuff all around us. We borrow tools from each other sometimes. That’s how we've always operated. No big secrets or corporate plans here, just a family shop.
