Changla Industries

Our place, Changla Industries, is over at B-14 in GIDC. - 1, Shankar Tekri, Udyognagar in Jamnagar. It is right next to a bunch of other similar units in this part of the city. Jamnagar is a place where people really work hard, and we are no different. The B-14 unit is where we spend all our time. It’s not a place for suits or fancy meetings. It’s a place for tools and getting things made properly. The air in Shankar Tekri always smells like metal and industry. We have our routines here, starting early in the morning before the sun gets too high in the sky. The space is filled with equipment and raw materials. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when we have a big shipment coming in or going out. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t even notice the noise from the street anymore. It’s just the background to our day. Changla Industries is just a local business trying to do things right. We don’t have a big corporate philosophy or anything. We just want to finish the work and make sure it’s decent. It’s a lot of manual effort and paying attention to the small stuff. That’s what happens every day at B-14. We just keep at it, day in and day out, in this corner of Jamnagar. The fans hum all day and we just keep moving until the shutters go down for the night.
