Changla Cast

Changla Cast is based in Jamnagar, specifically in the GIDC-1 area of Shankar Tekri Udyognagar. If you know anything about Jamnagar, you know this is where all the industrial action happens. We are at plot B-7. It is a workshop environment, so there is always the sound of metal and machinery in the background. We aren't the kind of people who wear suits to work. Most days we are covered in a bit of grease or dust from the casting process. It is a tough job, but someone has to do it. We have been part of the Udyognagar community for many years. We know the other shop owners on the street, and we often borrow tools from each other. It’s a very practical place. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or big signs. The sign on our door is a bit faded from the sun, but people still find us. We just focus on the work that needs to be done each day. Sometimes a machine breaks down, and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it ourselves. That is just how it goes when you run a small foundry or casting shop. We are just a group of local guys who know how to work with metal and want to keep the shop running for the next generation.
