Anurag Impex

Our place, Anurag Impex, is at B-39 inside the GIDC Industrial Estate. It’s right there in Shanker Tekri, which is usually quite a busy part of Udyognagar. If you come by in the morning, you’ll see us rolling up the shutters while the sun is still low. The air usually smells like grease and old metal from all the other shops nearby. We’ve been in this building for a while now. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but they hold up the roof just fine. Inside, there are several workbenches and a few chairs that have seen better days. We spend most of our time here, from the first cup of tea until it gets dark outside. The floor is made of rough concrete and it’s hard on the feet if you don’t wear the right shoes. Sometimes the trucks blocking the narrow road make it hard to get deliveries in on time. We just deal with it as it comes. There’s a small fan in the corner that rattles when it’s on high, but it keeps the air moving when the afternoon heat kicks in. It’s a plain setup with a lot of tools and bits of material scattered around on the shelves. We don't have a big sign or anything fancy out front. Just the address, B-39, painted on the wall so people can find us among all the other units in the block. It’s not much, but it’s where we do our work.
