Jay Imitation

Down here at 49 Digvijay Plout, things are always moving. We are located in Huribhai's Wadi, specifically Plot No. 9 in the Shanker Tekri area of Udyog Nagar. Jamnagar is known for this kind of work, and Jay Imitation is just one of the many workshops tucked away in these lanes. We mostly work on small pieces, things that take a lot of patience and steady hands. The air is often filled with the sound of metal clicking or small tools hitting the table. It’s an industrial neighborhood, so you see people moving crates and materials all day long. We don't have a big storefront with lights. It’s more of a workspace where we get things done. We usually start early before it gets too hot. Dealing with imitation jewelry and parts means we have a lot of tiny items to keep track of. It can be easy to lose something if you aren't careful. We’ve been in this part of Udyog Nagar for quite some time now. Most of our neighbors do similar work, so we all know each other. It’s a community of makers. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make the items, pack them up, and move on to the next task. It’s a living, and we’re glad to be doing it here. It’s just how things are in this part of Jamnagar.
