Tata Chemicals Ltd. (Cement Div)

Our office is tucked away at C/O Kalpesh V Zala, Town Qtr No.-9 in Mithapur. This is the cement division side of things. It’s a bit of a trek out here in the Jamnagar district. The quarters are basically where we live and work, so there isn't much of a boundary between the two. Everything smells a bit like dust and construction, which is just part of the job when you're dealing with cement. We spend our mornings going over inventory and checking what needs to be moved out. It’s a practical setup. We don't have any big corporate signs or fancy reception areas. Most of the time, we’re just sitting at old wooden desks with piles of logs. The heat in Gujarat is no joke, so we try to get the heavy work done before the sun gets too high. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-conversation about a delivery or a broken piece of equipment. We just try to keep the supply moving without too much fuss. There are a lot of rules we have to follow for safety, which keeps us busy throughout the day. It’s hard work, and by the end of the day, we’re usually pretty tired. We aren't trying to impress anyone, just doing what needs to be done. It's a small community here, and we all help each other out when things get backed up. We just take it one load at a time.
