Stenographer

We are located in Jamnagar, specifically in the Kadia Wad area on Ladwa Street. If you are looking for us, we are near the Bedi Gate, which is a well-known landmark around here. The office is at Hematbhai Vasani’s place. It is a very traditional part of town with narrow streets and lots of local shops all around us. As a stenographer, the work is mostly about listening and typing, and we do it all from this small desk in a room that has seen a lot of years. There is no air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that clicks a bit when it is on the high setting. Jamnagar gets quite warm, so we drink a lot of water throughout the day. The street outside is always full of cows, scooters, and people going about their business. It can be quite loud, but we have learned to tune it out when we are working on a transcript. We do not have a website or any fancy brochures. People usually find us by word of mouth or by just walking in because they saw the sign. It is a very old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. We handle a lot of legal and official papers, so we have to be careful, even if the office itself looks a bit cluttered with stacks of files and old notebooks. It is just a small local operation.
