Sona Exports

Our office, Sona Exports, is located at 202 Shreejivihar Appt. We are right across from the Panchwati Petrol Pump on Bedi Bunder Road. It is a good landmark because everyone in the area knows where that pump is. Being on the second floor of the apartment building means it stays a little quieter than it would be on the ground level, though you can still hear the traffic from the main road. We have a modest setup here. It’s mostly just a couple of rooms where we handle all the export details. The walls are lined with folders and there is usually a stack of samples sitting on the corner table. We spend a lot of time checking quality and making sure everything is ready for transport. The humidity here can be quite something during the monsoon, so we have to be careful about how we store things. We have a small team, and most of us have been working together for a long time. We know the local transport guys and the customs agents pretty well by now. It’s a lot of routine work, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. Sometimes we walk down to the nearby stalls for tea when things get a bit too stressful. It is just a regular local business trying to do things right and keep the shipments moving out on schedule. There isn't much more to it than that.
