Site Engineer Electrical Power Plant

I work out of Om Nivas here in Gandhinagar, Jamnagar. Block No. A-35 is where I keep all my notes and technical drawings for the electrical power plant projects I handle. It’s a busy life being a site engineer. I spend most of my mornings checking on the big generators and making sure the wiring is up to code. Sometimes the Jamnagar heat gets a bit much, especially when you are standing out in the middle of a plant all day, but that is just part of the job. My neighbors at Om Nivas see me coming and going at odd hours depending on when the site needs me. It is not a fancy office or anything, just a practical space where the real work gets planned. People around here know me as the guy who is always carrying a helmet and some blueprints. Dealing with high voltage systems requires a lot of focus, so when I get home to A-35, I usually just want to sit down and have some tea. I have lived in this part of Gujarat for a while now and I like how things move here. You get to know the local suppliers and the guys at the plant pretty well. It is about getting the lights on and keeping the turbines spinning without too much fuss. I don't really do the big corporate talk, I just make sure the electrical side of things is running like it should.
