You can find us over at Bishanpur, specifically at Mahesh Jha’s place. It’s a bit of a local landmark in this part of Samastipur. We run the Simplex Infrastructure operations from here, keeping an eye on the various works happening across Bihar. Being in a place like Karpoorigram means we are right in the middle of where things are actually being built. It’s not your typical office building; it feels more like a home that’s been taken over by work. There are always charts on the wall and boots near the door. The team spends a lot of time traveling between the sites and this office, so it’s often a revolving door of people coming and going. Samastipur is a place where you have to be ready for anything, whether it’s the weather or logistics issues. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just make sure the bridges and roads we are part of actually get finished. It’s a lot of coordination and talking to people on the ground. Sometimes it’s stressful, but mostly it’s just the daily routine of checking figures and talking to supervisors. We’ve grown accustomed to the pace of life here. It’s a straightforward setup, and we prefer it that way. No need for anything fancy when you have real work to get through every single day. We just try to keep things moving as steadily as possible.
