Our office is tucked away in the SDCCL Colony, specifically at Quarter C11/41 in Digvijaygram. Being part of the Aditya Birla Group is something that happened along the way, but for us here on the ground, it’s still the same daily grind. Sikka is right there, and the sea breeze hits us sometimes, though mostly it’s just the smell of industry. We live and work in the same area, which makes for a short commute, usually just a walk across the dusty roads. The colony life is quiet. We know our neighbors, and most of them are doing the same kind of work we are. We handle the cement side of things from this small quarter. It isn't a massive glass building; it's just a regular place where we keep the books and take the calls. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the work doesn't stop for that. We don't go in for big speeches or mission statements. We just make sure the cement is ready and the trucks are moving. It’s a practical life in this part of Gujarat. We’ve been here long enough that the sounds of the plant are like background noise you don't even notice anymore. It’s just a group of people making sure things run like they should, day in and day out, without any fuss.
