Doshi Sons

The M. P. Shah Industrial Estate has been around for ages, and Doshi Sons has its spot at C-48/1. If you come down Saru Section Road in Jamnagar, you’ll see plenty of places like ours. It’s an old-school environment. We have heavy doors and floors that have seen a lot of wear over the years. My uncle used to run things here, and not much has changed in terms of how we go about our day. We start early, check the inventory, and deal with the local suppliers who drop by. There is a lot of back-and-forth talking, sometimes a bit of arguing over the price of brass or steel, but that’s just how it goes here. We don't use any fancy software to keep track of things; a lot of it is still written down in big ledgers. The air is thick with the sound of grinding and the occasional truck backing into the narrow driveway. We take a break in the afternoon when the sun is at its peak. We sit in the shade of the doorway and watch the traffic go by. It’s a simple life, focused on the work right in front of us. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Jamnagar. We just want to make sure the stuff we send out is what the customer asked for and that we can do it all again tomorrow. Sometimes we stay a bit late to tidy up the workspace for the next day.
