Our office is sitting right in the M. P. Shah Industrial Estate on Saru Section Road. It is unit C-32/1. If you have ever driven down that road, you know how busy it gets with all the industrial traffic and the dust from the nearby construction. We spend a lot of our time here looking at blueprints and talking to contractors. It’s not a clean or quiet job. There is always the sound of some machine humming nearby or a truck backing up. The walls of our office could probably use a fresh coat of paint but we are usually too busy with the project work to worry about that. We handle a lot of the technical side of things for local builds. Most of us have been in this industry for years and we know the local area like the back of our hands. We drink a lot of chai from the stall down the street. It’s better than the stuff we make ourselves in the small pantry. The office feels a bit cramped when the whole team is in but it works for us. We don’t have any fancy lobby or receptionist. You just walk in and someone will be there at a desk covered in files. We focus on getting the measurements right and making sure the sites are moving along. It is practical work for practical people. We stay until the job is done for the day. That's just how it goes here.
