Rr Cabel Ltd

Down here in Porbandar, specifically near the Vadia Garage area, things move at their own pace. Rr Cabel Ltd is tucked away in the Ashapura Society. We deal with cables and wiring, which means the warehouse usually has those big wooden spools lying around. The dust from the road gets into everything if we leave the shutters up for too long. It gets very hot in the afternoons, so we usually try to get the heavy loading done before noon. The office part is small, just enough for a few files and a phone that rings more than we would like. Sometimes the delivery trucks have trouble finding the plot because the street signs aren't great. We end up standing out by the garage waving them in. It is a lot of physical work, moving inventory and checking orders against handwritten lists. We don't have a big corporate team; it is just a handful of us making sure the right cables go to the right people. Occasionally the power cuts out, and we just sit outside until it comes back on. Porbandar is a small enough place where everyone knows whose truck is blocking the lane. We just focus on keeping the stock organized and making sure we don't run out of the common sizes that people ask for most. It is a basic operation but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
