Ril Jamnagar

We are located out at Motikhawdi, right near the Reliance Industries site. It's a huge area, and Ril Jamnagar is just one of the many things going on here. The scale of the place is something you never really get used to. There are pipes and structures everywhere. Our workspace is pretty functional. It’s mostly just metal desks and hard chairs. We don't have any decorations on the walls, just some maps and schedules. It’s a noisy place with the sounds of the industry always in the distance. We’ve been working here for quite a while now. The days are usually long, and we spend most of them coordinating things or checking over documents. It’s a lot of routine. We wear our work clothes and don't worry about looking polished. The dust gets everywhere, so we’re always wiping down our screens. We have a small area where we keep our lunch boxes. Jamnagar can be a harsh place to work because of the heat and the wind, but we’ve grown to like it. We know the people on our shift and we look out for each other. We don't have any big mission statements. We just know that the work needs to be finished by the end of the day. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment. We just show up, do our bit, and then head home when the sun goes down.
