Out here in Jamnagar, specifically at Plot A1 in the Contractara Area, things are pretty industrial. Reliance Petrochemcial Ltd is based here in Mithapur, and the pin code is 361345 if you are sending mail. It’s a lot of open space and heavy work going on around us. This isn't the kind of place you come for a casual walk. It is a working site. We have our setup on this particular plot and it gets quite windy sometimes being out in this part of Gujarat. The sun can be really strong in the afternoons so we mostly stay busy inside the office or under the shade when we can. Working in the petrochemical sector means there is always something happening, though our day-to-day is mostly just keeping things moving at this location. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city areas, so we all kind of rely on each other here. There are a lot of trucks and equipment moving around the Contractara Area. It’s loud and it’s dusty but that is just how it is in Mithapur. We don't have fancy decorations or anything. It’s just a solid workspace where we show up and do what needs to get done. You learn to appreciate the small things like a cold drink when it's 40 degrees outside. Plot A1 is just our little piece of this big industrial zone. It's not glamorous but it's where we work.
