We are set up behind the Rest House in the Kharavad area of Halvad. It’s a small town in the Surendranagar district and everyone pretty much knows everyone else around here. Our office is a basic setup where we handle the daily business for Reliance Ind. Ltd. It’s not a corporate skyscraper, just a practical place where we can get our work done without too much fuss. We’ve been in this part of Gujarat for a long time. The street outside can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but it’s a solid location. Usually, you’ll find three or four of us inside working on the accounts or talking to people who drop by. We don’t have any fancy signs or flashing lights. If you find the Rest House, you’re basically there. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, so we end up doing things the old-fashioned way with pen and paper for a bit. It keeps us on our toes. We have a small kettle in the back for making tea, which is pretty much running all day long. The office hours are fairly standard, though sometimes we stay late if there’s a big shipment or something to coordinate. It’s a quiet life here in Halvad but we stay busy with the tasks at hand. It’s just us doing what needs to get done every day. We hope to stay here for many more years.
