Our place, Sahajanand Brass, is situated in Sneh Bhav over in Raguvir Society. We are right opposite Ranjitnagar in Jamnagar. If you know this city, you know that brass is what we do here. Our daily life revolves around the smell of metal and the sound of polishing machines. We make all sorts of brass components and parts. The workshop can get pretty loud and dusty, but that is just how it is. We have a small office area to handle the mail and the orders that come in. Post Box No. 5012 has seen a lot of letters over the years. We have been in this spot for quite a while, and most of the people in the society know us. Jamnagar is the hub for this kind of work, so we are surrounded by other people doing similar things. We aren't a massive factory, just a local business with a handful of skilled workers who know how to handle the lathes. We don't have a fancy website or a big sales team. Most of our work comes from long-standing relationships with people who need reliable brass parts. We have our tea together in the afternoons and talk about the day's production. It is a simple life. We focus on making sure the dimensions are right and the finish is what it should be. It is hard work, especially in the heat, but we have been doing it for so long it is just second nature to us now.
