Kiran Brass Works

Kiran Brass Works is located in Jamnagar, specifically in the Ramnath Colony area on Ranjit Sagar Road. Our building is called "Rajkiran," and we’re right across from Nanakpuri. Jamnagar is famous for brass, so we’re just one of many shops doing this kind of work in the city. We’ve been using the same P. B. No. 5028 for a long time now. The workshop is full of the yellow glow of brass and the sounds of polishing wheels. It’s a messy business, with metal dust getting into everything, but we’re used to it. The "Rajkiran" building is where we do all our sorting and manufacturing. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters. We just answer the phone and deal with the orders as they come in. The road outside can get pretty busy with people heading towards the Ranjit Sagar Dam area. We usually see the same faces every day, which is nice for a local business. Most of us have been working with brass since we were young, so the work comes naturally. It’s not always easy, especially when the orders pile up and the machines decide to act up, but we manage. We just keep our heads down and focus on the metal. It’s a solid way to make a living and we’ve been at it long enough that the smell of the shop feels like home. We just take it one day at a time.
