Our Mumbai base is at the Sra Khandwala Building No.04, C Wing. It is right in the middle of the city’s hustle. If you know Mumbai, you know how these buildings can be—lots of activity and not much quiet. We have set up our office here to stay close to the heart of the action. It is a practical space, not some high-rise glass tower. We have got the desks crammed in where they fit, and there is always someone on the phone or running out to a site. The C Wing is where we spend most of our daylight hours. It gets a bit hot, and the traffic noise from outside never really stops, but that is Mumbai for you. We do not have a big reception area or fancy artwork on the walls. It is mostly calendars, schedules, and some old tea cups. It is a working environment through and through. The building has its quirks, like the elevator that sometimes takes its time, but we do not mind. We focus on the infrastructure projects that keep us busy year-round. It is a tough city to work in, but it is where things happen. We are just a bunch of regular people trying to keep things moving. There is no corporate gloss here, just the reality of running a construction business from a crowded city building. It is busy, it is loud, and it is where we work.
