You can find Pooja Brass Products over in Udyog Nagar, inside the Patel Estate. It’s a very industrial area, which is perfect for what we do. We work with brass all day, so there is that distinct smell of metal in the air and plenty of heat from the machinery. Patel Estate is full of other workshops too, so there’s a constant drone of machines and trucks coming in to pick up finished parts. We make different items out of brass, mostly focusing on the small stuff that goes into larger machines or home fixtures. It’s a lot of repetitive work, standing at the lathes or checking the finish on a batch of products. We don’t have much in the way of an office; it’s mostly just the workshop floor. We keep our supplies in the back and the finished bins near the door. Working in Udyog Nagar means we are right in the heart of where things get made. It’s gritty and sometimes the floor is covered in metal shavings, but we keep it as clean as we can. Pooja Brass Products is a small operation, just a few of us making sure the brass comes out looking right. We’ve been in Patel Estate for a long time now and we’re used to the noise and the pace of the industrial life here. It’s a solid, hardworking place for a business like ours.
