Prince Emery (India)

Prince Emery (India) is over in Patel Colony, specifically at Vijaybhuvan 3 3. We work with emery and abrasives, which is a pretty gritty and dirty job if we’re being honest. You won’t find any fancy carpets or air-conditioned lobbies here. Instead, there’s a lot of grey dust and the sound of heavy bags being moved around. Patel Colony is a residential area but we’ve got our little corner where we do our business. Most of the work involves managing the supplies and making sure the orders for the grinding wheels and polishing grains get out to the workshops that need them. It’s a small team here, and we all end up with dirty hands by the end of the shift. The building itself is an older style, so it has its quirks, like the squeaky gate and the narrow stairs that make carrying things a bit of a challenge. We don't spend money on big signs or anything like that because the people who need emery usually know where to find us. It’s the kind of place where we know the tea stall guy by name and he knows exactly how we like our drinks. We just keep our heads down and get the work done, day in and day out, without worrying about much else.
