Painter Gopal

Painter Gopal is located at No.3 in the Jetco Compound, right at Saat Rasta. We are sitting just opposite Khetu Chemist, near the Khambhalia Gate. It is a well-known spot in the city. As the name says, we do painting. It could be signs, walls, or whatever else needs a bit of color. Gopal started this a long time ago, and we have just kept the brushes moving ever since. The shop is full of paint cans, some empty and some full, and there is always a smell of thinner in the air. We do not wear fancy clothes because they would just get ruined by spills anyway. We spend a lot of time on our feet or up on ladders. It is not a glamorous life, but it is honest work. People come to us because they know we have been around Saat Rasta for years. We do not have a big marketing plan or a sales team. We just show up and paint. Sometimes we have to wait for the rain to stop before we can finish a job, which can be frustrating. We talk to our customers like neighbors because that is what they are. We do not promise things we cannot do. If a wall is too crumbly to paint, we say so. It is just about doing a decent day's work and going home tired. That is how it works here at Painter Gopal.
